Field Application Engineer

BD/Sales technical support
Key Areas of Accountability:
- Responsible for technical support of power device products and solving problems encountered by customers in application.
- Familiar with customer's application circuits, master the relevant performance of mainstream competitor products, understand the advantages of our own products, and can independently complete some application testing and device testing work. Based on the results, provide analysis and judgment to assist R&D and QA in identifying problem areas.
- Assist the Marketing team in completing the definition of new products.
- Assist sales personnel to explore customer project requirements, track important projects, and complete the design-in/design-win process effectively.
- Assist sales in handling client feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in electronic-related fields.
- Familiar with customer's application circuits, master the relevant performance of mainstream competitor products, understand the advantages of our own products, and can independently complete some application testing and device testing work. Application Engineer（IGBT）

R&D
Key Areas of Accountability:
- Perform various tests of power semiconductor devices such as IGBT, FRD in discrete or module package to quantify their performances.
- Provide technical support to customers, FAEs, and Sales to win the business.
- Design, build, and test demo/evaluation boards.
- Evaluate new products and competition parts in application environments.
- Perform electrical & thermal simulation to identify product performance
- Create application notes and technical articles to promote IGBT products.
- Collaborate with design engineers, device engineers, and package engineers.
- Actively participate in creating new product ideas with other members.
- Train FAEs, Sales, Disti so that they can promote IGBT products skillfully.
Requirements:
- At least Bachelor of Science degree plus relevant experience in power electronics.
- Experience in at least one of the following area; Solar Inverter, UPS, EV charging pole, motor drive.
- Knowledge in power semiconductor devices.
- Ability to make logical decisions and enjoy solving problems.
- An active team player, and ability to work in a fast paced team environment.
- Ability to travel ~20% of the time.
- Basic English communication skills.
Shanghai

Supplier Quality Manager

Quality
Key Areas of Accountability:
- Outsourced manufacturing center (subcontractor) introduction and daily quality management.
- Carry out the process audit and product audit.
- Focus on regular KPI reviewing and performance rating; kick off and review the continuous improvement at the subcontractors.
- Handle the maverick lot from manufacturing process and testing.
- Monitor the reliability of product, and review the change of product/process.
- Support the commercial teams in product promotion and qualification, customer audit.
Requirements:
- Engineering major with bachelor's degree graduation at least.
- 10 years or above working experience in Semiconductor industry, good understanding in assembly process & electrical testing.
- Be familiar with IATF 16949. Knowledge of VDA 6.3 is a plus.
- Be familiar with Quality tools (e.g. control plan, FMEA, SPC, MSA, DOE).
- Good communication in English.
Germany or Italy

BD / FAE Manager

Sales
Key Areas of Accountability:
- Develop customers attack plans in agreement with sales & marketing team.
- Deliver (and develop) application knowledge and give support in design-in efforts toward design win.
- Feed-back customer insights and product/feature requirements to relevant marketing.
- Drive customer visits for technical product presentations, demonstrations, demos, reference boards and application manuals.
- Provide technical product training for customers, partners and sales colleagues.
- Pro-actively communicate product features and benefits.
- 50% Support customer on product and technical related questions.
- 20% Track and update design activities status in system.
- 20% Conduct training for customers, distributors and sales colleagues.
- 10% Timely update on market activities, participate in business review meetings.
Requirements:
- Well knowledge of business creation and project management. Good visibility of design-in and design-win pipeline process.
- Strong technical background in power component applications. Familiar WG, Industrial segment, SMPS, UPS, high power AC2DC design is preferred.
- Solid knowledge in Power discrete parameters and specification measurement, Power supply topologies.
- Teamwork spirit, good manners and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree or above in electronic engineering.
- More than 5 years working experience in technical support or R&D in semiconductor industry.
- Able to provide on-site technical support to key customers.
- Good skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and oral presentation in both written and spoken English.
